Benefits with Anthem Medicaid

Anthem Medicaid offers the healthcare you expect, plus extra benefits just for our members.

Receive the care your family needs from qualified doctors you choose. We have thousands of doctors in our plan, including experienced specialists.
Our benefits include covered care in the hospital, as well as urgent and emergency care. We ensure you receive the care your family needs, when you need it.
Regular checkups, called wellness visits, are covered for both children and adults to help you stay healthy. This also includes routine vaccines and health screenings.
Benefits include a wide range of prescription drugs. Anthem Medicaid also covers many over the counter (OTC) medicines, with a prescription from your doctor.
Dental benefits are provided for children and adults through DentaQuest and include exams, cleanings, X-rays, and fillings.
Healthy eyes are an important part of good overall health. All members can receive an eye exam and eyeglasses, if needed, every year.
Regular checkups and screenings are important to keep you and your baby healthy. Your prenatal care, including labor and delivery, is covered. As an extra benefit to our members, you can enroll in Healthy Rewards. Healthy Rewards is a wellness program for eligible members at no-cost. You may be able to earn rewards just for completing your prenatal and postpartum visits.

How to join Anthem Medicaid

New to Medicaid?

You'll need to apply for benefits.

  2. Complete the online application
  3. Choose Anthem Medicaid as your health plan
