Affordability
Plans that help your bottom line
Our size and strength make it easier for us to negotiate deep discounts. The savings are built into a wide range of product and network offerings that are designed to meet your employees' needs.
Our flexible plan designs help you meet the needs of your business and your employees. In addition to competitive Affordable Care Act (ACA) plans, you can choose from these alternative funding plans:
- Anthem Balanced Funding (ABF)
Our ABF plans give groups (with 10-50 enrolled members) financial security through a fixed monthly payment, stop loss protection, potential savings for lower claims, protection from end-of-policy-year claims lag, and detailed reporting.
- Multiple employer welfare arrangement (MEWA)
Our MEWA plans offer flexible, competitively priced plan designs that provide groups (with 2-50 enrolled members) with stability, stop loss protection, and a fixed monthly payment arrangement.

Simplicity
Easier access to care across the state
We're building strong partnerships with local health systems and community organizations that support your employees' whole-person health. We're invested in making our state healthier for everyone.
- Offering one of the state’s largest networks with 94% of doctors and 99% of hospitals in Kentucky1
- Including a wide range of network options that feature broad coverage, and more focused solutions that help keep costs down.

1 Anthem internal data, 2024.
2 Elevance Health Foundation 2023 year-end giving.
3 In addition to using a telehealth service, members can receive in-person or virtual care from their own doctor or another healthcare provider in the plan’s network. If they receive care from a doctor or healthcare provider not in their plan’s network, their share of the costs may be higher. They may also receive a bill for any charges not covered by their health plan.
4 Appointments are subject to the availability of a therapist. Online counseling is not appropriate for all kinds of issues.
Sydney Health is offered through an arrangement with Carelon Digital Platforms, a separate company offering mobile application services on behalf of your health plan.
